PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
To begin, I thank Lexie and Steve for the hard work they have done up to and during the time we have been away.  While we are having the time of our lives, Lexie and Steve have been keeping the home fires burning on the 2014 Calendar, our monthly markets and the planning for 2013 Swaggies Christmas.
DDPAI have had yet another very successful year.  I will leave it to Lexie to report on the profits we have made, which have enabled DDPAI to donate to various groups needing support.
Swaggies Christmas 2012 – $1800.00 Donated to Dayboro Churches Community Chest
DDF 2012 Chopper Rides – $3050.00 Donated to Dayboro AH&I Assoc
Mt Samson State School – $6000.00 to purchase iPads and accessories
More Than Idol Gossip Fundraiser – $1747.68 Donated to Dayboro Churches Community Chest
Market Donation – $1500.00 Endeavour Foundation Car Rally
Our 2013 Calendar was received very well, just a few hiccups with the wet weather and the delivery, but we soldiered on.  It was discussed that in 2014 we would have pick up points for the calendar instead of delivering them.  I’m not sure if we are acting on that for 2014 or not.  We spoke of the savings and that the people that want the calendar could pick them up from Dayboro Cottage and Dayboro ECU.
The next event on the agenda was Swaggies Christmas.  WOW!  What a night.  Luke Mellers and Lexie certainly put on a fantastic night.  Here’s to this years Swaggies.
Dayboro Day Festival and Dayboro Antique and Collectables Fair lived up to the standard we have brought it up to.  Many, many helpers made the day go really well.  Maria and I had a rough couple of months before DDF, with losses in our family, and the team again helped us out stepping in for us and being there for us and for that we thank them.
Now roll around DDPAI AGM and Maria and I are still away, in training as grey nomads.  I hope all goes well with the AGM and that the committee can have a very successful year.
Mark Hansen
President DDPAI

SWAGGIES CHRISTMAS:  Mark your calendar – Saturday 14 December!  (See EVENTS)

DAYBORO MARKET:  1st Sunday of each month (excluding January).  Once again we have registered our Terah’s Turtles Team in the Pine Rivers Relay for Life.  Did you know we won last year with our fundraising?  Our contribution for this year is $2000.00.  So we thank all the stallholders for their support and also all our visitors to the monthly market.  If you would like to be part of our monthly, very friendly market it will cost you $15 for a 3m x 3m site.  Please contact Lexie or Steve for information.
