At just 2 days old, and weighing only 11kg, this newborn miniature horse had the fight of her life ahead of her after contracting a nasty gut infection only hours after being born.
Not only that, but she was also suffering from narcolepsy, which meant she would just collapse to the ground with anything stressful.  This double whammy made it almost impossible for her to drink from her mum, which meant that she then had to be hand fed.  After a few days of intensive care at the Old Mill Vet, the young filly had fought the infection and was running around and had stopped collapsing as well.  She continues to thrive at home, with the help of her dedicated owners.
