Property Offences
On 14th October fencing and chains on cattle yard gates were cut at a Rush Creek property.  On 8th October a GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked on Cedar Creek Road, Cedar Creek.  Entry to vehicle was by smashing a window.
Overnight on 20th September a personalised number plate was stolen from the front of a vehicle parked in Brady Street, Dayboro.
If you have information in relation to these or other offences please contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or Dayboro Police Station 3425 1200.

Rural Watch (Neighbourhood Watch)
The Dayboro and District Rural Watch AGM was held in October.  The group was presented with a cheque for $2100 by the Dayboro Progress Association.  For several years on Dayboro Day, local business owner Craig Doyle has supplied a helicopter and pilot at his own cost for flights over the Dayboro area.  Money raised from the joy flights is then donated by Craig to the Progress Association for distribution to a local community group.  The final Rural Watch meeting for the year will be held on Tuesday 3rd December 2013 7.30pm at the Dayboro Bowls Club.  Any resident from Dayboro or surrounding localities is welcome to attend.
