Nov2013_*** Lollipop Land ***

A Magical Christmas Experience for the Whole Family!
Visitors should be prepared to be transported to another world when you visit this Magical Christmas Installation created by Visual Display Artist Jule Barten and Original Doll Artist Chris Boston.
Lollipop Land, a supposedly ‘imaginary’ suburb of the North Pole, is where the Elves and the Fairies make all of the cakes and the lollies and the chocolates and the ice-creams for the whole, wide world …..Didn’t you know that?
This is a chance for grown-ups to step back-in-time and an opportunity for children to create lasting childhood memories, with the 2013 version of Lollipop Land now more than twice the size and twice the fun!  It’s like going to see the best Christmas Windows ever, only you get to come inside!
Designed to delight and to capture your imagination, this enchanting exhibition is guaranteed to leave you spell-bound with each doll totally hand-sculpted from polymer-clay and produced by Chris’ own imagination and with the whole story designed and created by Jule’s whimsical imaginings, representing months and months of planning and creating in their respective workshops.
Make sure you bring your cameras along so that you can take lots of photos as there will be a sparkling, magical, Enchanted Forest  where you can take your family Christmas Photos on a very, very special seat (shhh, it’s a secret)!
You will also discover delicious treats such as home-made ice-creams and gingerbread; colourful lollipops, Gifts and Christmas Decorations available for sale in the Lollipop Land Gift Shoppe too. (Sorry, no eftpos facility available at the North Pole)
This year, Lollipop Land will be held in Woodford, which is not too far for us Dayboro folk to drive.  Why not make a day of it and pack a picnic basket or perhaps visit one of the local cafes in town?  Enjoy the picturesque tourist route over the top of beautiful Mt Mee with its spectacular views.
Lollipop Land offers affordable entertainment for the school holidays and due to public demand, Lollipop Land will stay open after Christmas and right up until January 19, 2014 providing ample time for visitors to experience the wonder.  It also means that Lollipop Land will be open during the week that the famous Woodford Folk Festival is on too, which is very exciting for visitors to the town!
