WOOD and CLAY
The Artists of the Month for November is a dual affair. CARLY WAGSTAFF and JOAN GERRY have combined their skills to provide a great presentation ideally suited for Christmas.
CARLY is well known for woodworking skills and loves the opportunity to share her love of timber and showcase her unique wood craft. The current display falls into the category of Yard Art and has proved very popular at the Gallery. She has sent a consignment of Yard Art to Lord Howe Island last year and this took pride of place at the Lord Howe Island Art Trail. Her wonderful sense of humour shines through in her work. These pieces make beautiful gifts for the coming festive season
JOAN, a well known local artist, has been a member of the gallery for 16 years and during that time has been one of the galleries most successful artists. Not restricted to the canvas, Joan also works in clay depicting native animals. In particular the Echidnas are most sought after. Joan has promised to have more Echidnas ready for the Christmas period but I suggest you get in early as these delightful little animals leave the gallery very quickly for new homes.
The gallery has had a facelift with a new ceiling in the main area so all is ready for the festive season.
WOOD AND CLAY a wonderful opportunity for unique Christmas gifts. Only at the gallery, and only while stocks last !
