U3A Pine Rivers will be holding their monthly Social and Information Meeting on Friday September 18th at Bray Hall, Cooke Street Petrie at 9.30am for 10.00am start. Our Guest Speaker is Gary Jackson from The K9 Dog Training Centre, Burpengary speaking about “Assistance Dogs”. Assistance dogs come in many guises – Drug, Termite, Protection, Tracking or Personal assistance for deaf, blind or other disabilities such as epilepsy. This is set to be a very interesting topic.
Morning tea is available for a gold coin donation. Raffles on the day.
U3A Pine Rivers: Some of the Thursday Mah-Jong players, who are hoping to move into our new premises at the old Kallangur Library building when we open it – they are all geared up to help clean up the place so we can move in sooner rather than later. The new facility will be called “THE U3A PINE RIVERS CENTRE”
