May2014_NETWORK TOPIC

The 2014 Dayboro Rodeo will have been held by the time this edition of the Dayboro Grapevine is delivered and I would hope that all the volunteer hours that went into its planning having ensured a successful day.
In saying that we are all, no doubt, gearing up for the Dayboro Day Festival.  Has your group booked their stall . . . . Indicated interest in participating in the Parade?  . . . . . . Built your ‘craft’ for the Waterless Raft Race? . . . . .

All in all it is set to be another great day for the community groups to make their presence known and to perhaps do a little fundraising, as well as have the family enjoy a day out with loads of things to do and free entertainment.

We’ve got the market stalls in and around the main street, Williams Street, which will be closed off to traffic  between 8.30am and 3.30pm on the day, Sunday 25th May, as well as displays, talks and entertainment.

Then we have the Antiques & Collectables Fair over at the Dayboro Showgrounds with many stalls to browse as well as valuations.

Remember that your can start your day off there. Park the car at the showgrounds, then for the Festival, either take the short walk through to the township or catch the FREE Shuttle Bus, which will be running at 15 minute intervals throughout the day.

Remove the Dayboro Day Festival lift-out in the centre of this edition, and fold to its handy size to keep with you as a reference point to what is happening, and where, on May 25th.
