logo_police.gifOver the last month there have been a number of property related offences in the Dayboro Police area.
Between 4th and 11th April entry was forced to a house on Ocean View Road and cash and jewellery items stolen.  Between 18th and 20th March property was stolen from a residence under construction at Ocean View.  Between 15th and 17th March a break and enter occurred to a building at Dayboro State School and a small amount of property stolen.
On 30th March a vehicle stolen from Murrumba Downs was located burnt out on Neilson Road, Kurwongbah.
Between 26th March and 28th March three push bikes were stolen from Morris Street and on 27th March another bike was stolen from the front of a property on Fingerboard Road.
During March there were also three separate reports of the theft of property from vehicles.  CB radios and other similar equipment from trucks and earthmoving equipment were targeted.  These offences occurred at Samsonvale and Kurwongbah.

The recent increase in traffic crashes has continued with 9 incidents in the last month.  There has been a variety of contributory causes including inattention, failing to give way, drink driving, fatigue and wet weather.  Please take extra care as the roads in our area are only getting busier and there is still ongoing repair work following the recent heavy rains.
