February proved a hectic month, finishing off with my son’s wedding (see page 29).
Having said that, is it any wonder that I didn’t have my eye on the approach of Easter. Talk about being caught “on the hop” . . It has only just ‘clicked’ that Easter will have been and gone before the next edition is out!
The dates for Easter can be confusing – and thank goodness for the Internet.
EASTER PUBLIC HOLIDAYS FOR 2015:
Good Friday is April 3rd; Easter Saturday on April 4th, and Easter Monday on April 6th.
Let’s face it, Easter is totally unlike Australia Day, Christmas, etc with their specific dates! Sometimes it falls in March.
So, before you know it, it will be DAYBORO RODEO (May 3); then DAYBORO DAY FESTIVAL and the ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES FAIR (both on May 31); then DAYBORO SHOW (July 4 & 5) Remember, this year we celebrate our 60th show – so get involved and put entries in some of the categories!
