Property Offences
Over the last month there was a burglary offence at Closeburn and a stolen vehicle recovered at Mt Pleasant. Offenders have been charged in relation to both offences.
Rural Watch
The 1st Dayboro Rural Watch meeting for 2015 was held on 3rd February 2015 at the Dayboro Bowls Club. Next meeting will be same venue on Tuesday 7th April commencing 7.30pm. Contacting Dayboro Police
With 7000 residents and 400 square kilometres in our Police Division and two officers to cover 7 days a week, 24hrs per day it should not be surprising that it can sometimes be difficult to find us at the police station or to make contact by phone.
In the event of an urgent incident, always ring 000. This goes through to Police communications. If Dayboro Police are not working at the time, we are on call after rostered shifts and can be called back to duty. Police from nearby stations can also be sent to assist.
For non urgent incidents contact Police Link on 131 444. An assessment is made at the time of the call as to whether the incident is passed through to police communications where we can be contacted by police radio or recalled to duty. If an immediate police response is not required, incident reports are taken by Police Link staff and forwarded to Dayboro Police Station for information and any necessary follow up. Online reporting, including a Police Link app is also available for a number of different types of offences and incidents, including non injury traffic crashes.
