To clarify and limit any confusion the Dayboro police charity trivia night will be held at the Dayboro State School Hall on Sat 17th March 2012 from 6.30pm to late.  Nominations for tables/teams can be made by contacting the Dayboro Police Station.  Limited tables are available so get in quick! Tables of 8 people –  $120 per table and the theme is St Patricks Day.

SECURE YOUR HOUSE AND BELONGINGS
A break and enter occurred in February 2012 at a residence at Ocean View.  Thankfully the homeowner had their house alarmed which resulted in the offender causing minimal damage and stealing minimal property.  This offence occurred in the middle of a weekday which is the usual time for offenders to enter houses in this area as residents are generally at work.  Please remember to secure your house and property as best you can and ask your neighbours to look out for suspicious persons and vehicles in your absence. Prevention is better than a cure.
DAYBORO STATE SCHOOL PARKING
Police are still receiving numerous complaints about parents parking in no standing / no parking / bus zones around the school during mornings and afternoons.  There is a time restrictive bus zone in McKenzie Street outside the front gate. Please make yourself familiar with the bus zone and timings. Furthermore please adhere to the signage in the cul-de-sacs in Cruice St and Roderick St.  Your kids welfare is at stake. If driver visibility is poor or there is a crash, the consequences could be serious. Please look for the signs.
THANKYOU
This will be my last Dayboro Grapevine entry before heading off to St George Police Station.  I would like to sincerely thank the Dayboro and Districts community for their overwhelming support to Ken and I over the last 2.5 years. You all truly live in paradise and the hardworking, selfless people in this community make this place so unique and a wonderful place to live, bring up kids and do business. Thank you again for your friendship and support.  All the best and take care
