logo_police.gifWe regularly receive inquiries at the station concerning push bike and horse riders on the road.  

Bicycle riders may ride alongside 1 other rider (i.e. two abreast) on a road and alongside more than one other rider if overtaking other riders.However, other general road rules also apply, so riders should not be unduly delaying other traffic. 
Horse riders should not ride or lead an animal on a road if it is practicable to ride on a road related area (such as the shoulder of the road or footpath).  When on a road, the rider of a horse may not ride alongside more than one other rider unless overtaking other riders or droving stock.  The driver of a vehicle must give may to a restive horse if signalled by the person riding or leading the horse (the rider should raise a hand and point to the horse).

On 2nd May a vehicle was stolen at Cedar Creek.  This vehicle was located and an offender charged.
On 1st May a 2007 Hummer stolen from Carindale was located in Lake Samsonvale at the end of Postmans Track.
On 30th April a break and enter occurred at a house on Cedar Creek Road.  An offender has been charged.
On 27th April forced entry was attempted to a residence in Jagera Court at Mt Samson.
On 23rd April a 1994 Toyota Landcruiser stolen from Newstead was located on Neilson Road, Kurwongbah.
Overnight on 16th April entry was gained to a shop in Williams Street, Dayboro.  Two offenders have been dealt with in relation to this offence.
