There were several break and enter offences over the last month. On 21st May a sliding side window of a house in Cruice Street was broken to gain entry, and an iPod was stolen.
On 28th May jewellery cash and computer equipment were stolen after a burglary of a property at Mt Samson. A vehicle was stolen from the address and a car previously stolen from the Gold Coast was left there. Two suspects have been identified for this offence and the vehicle was located at Cashmere on 3rd June.
Overnight on 29th May flyscreens were removed on two residences in Sunrise Drive Ocean View. Entry gained to one by opening an unlocked window and on the other by breaking out a small section of glass near the window release. No property was stolen.
On 3rd June in the early evening offenders climbed onto a balcony at a Cedar Creek house and entered an unlocked door. Phones, money, jewellery and credit cards were stolen. Credit Cards were later used in the Eatons Hill area. CCTV footage indicates that the person using these cards is similar to an offender who used stolen cards from an offence at Ocean View which was reported in last month’s edition.
If you have information in relation to these or other offences please contact Dayboro Police Station on 34251200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
