Dayboro QCWA Celebrates 85 years:
Former Dayboro CWA members, Edna Wruck and Rosemary Rohlf had some stories to tell about their time with the Dayboro QCWA and Edna also brought along some old photos which everyone enjoyed looking through.  Edna and Rosemary cut the celebratory cake.
Craft:  On the 1st and 4th Fridays of month from 9.30am. Cost is $3.00.  Beginners welcome as we do have a teacher for various crafts.  So if you want a chat, or to learn a new craft, or just bring along your own work, we would love to see you.  Everyone welcome and you do not need to be a member.  If you would like to stay for lunch, members bring along food to share.
Women’s and Children’s Refuge Comfort Bags:  These have been prepared.  Thank you to those who have already given a donation.
Divisional Finals Day:  Unfortunately our cookery entries were not successful.  Alison Hagaman received first place for her hat, which we are hoping to see modelled at our next meeting.  Joanne Wolfenden received 3 seconds and 3 non-placings with her photography.  Joanne’s 2 winning photos will go on to Region finals later this year.
