Gerry Callaghan – aka The Dust Poet.
It’s been almost nine months since The Dust Poet settled in as Café Poet at Rendezvous. Looking for Christmas cards to send to some friends Gerry could find very few with a spiritual tenor. Hence, she thought a Christmas poem might be in order! The poem owes its inspiration to the hills and valleys of the region – it might also work as a song.
You might like to listen to some of The Dust Poet’s poems this December on radio 4RPH, when they will be broadcast and read in the beautiful tones of the station’s Poetic Reflections presenter, Denise Houston.
