Encouraging Deep Bonding with Earth

If you are wanting to save petrol, save money and help the environment, the place you need to be is the Go Green Fair, to be held locally at 104 Robinson Road South, Ocean View on Saturday, 17 April, from 10am-3pm.
Right here on your doorstep is an event which will give you information about sustainable living, deepen your motivation to care for the environment, and give you some tips for doing just that.
All of that and entertainment too!!!   There will be a jazz music group, presenters on the hour and half hour covering topics like the urgency of going green, strategies for individuals and community groups wanting to reduce energy consumption, and practical tips for growing vegetables organically, for minimising waste and for installing solar power.  You can learn how to make your own solar oven and install a wick garden bed, get heaps of useful information, as well as buy environmentally friendly products.
The children will be educated and entertained with a special programme of events designed just for them. Geckoes Wildlife will be bringing along some of their favourite critters.
Of course, you can just sit and relax, eat good food, drink in the view, and enjoy the activity all around you.
Why not treat yourself to a day a short distance out of the city, while learning how to make a difference to the health of our planet?
Adult entry is by gold coin donations and children are free.
Buy some tickets and try your luck in the fabulous multi-draw raffle.  Remember “you’ve got to be in it to win it”.
More information is available on our website: www.earth-link.org.au , or pick up the phone and call 3425 3138 or email earthlink@mercy.org.au during office hours, and one of the organisers will happily answer your questions.
