The historic Beaumont House (Topiaries Restaurant) at 961 Eatons Crossing Road, Samford is the site for a fine art exhibition.
Over 40 reputable artists will be showing in excess of 200 exhibits. The Rotary Club of Samford Valley, with the support of individual artists and galleries is hosting this inaugural ‘Signatures’ Fine Arts Exhibition and the eradication of polio from young children will be the major beneficiary of proceeds. (Rotary’s PolioPlus Appeal.)
Painters, potters, sculptors, print makers, glass workers and furniture makers are involved. Names of artists include Rick Everingham, Graham Radcliffe, Ann and Gerry O’Connor, Yvonne Mills-Stanley, Pat Boddington, Pete & Lou Smit and Peter and Carol Williams. A number of outstanding exhibits from the galleries of Art on Cairncross (Tony Gill, Maleny) and Tiffany Jones Gallery (Buderim) including David Boyd, Rex Backhaus, Pro Hart, Norman Lindsay, Hugh Sawery, Tom McAulay, and James Patterson will be displayed.
