With the Scouting movement this year celebrating its 100 years in Australia, it seems fitting for past members to march with today’s members in our Dayboro Day Festival’s Street Parade. Come along and help celebrate this milestone.
CALLING PAST MEMBERS OF DAYBORO SCOUTS: Past members are invited to join current members to march with the Dayboro Scout Group in Dayboro Day Parade. Meet in the marshalling area (Dayboro Crown Hotel car park up past the Bottle-O from 9am) to be ready for the Parade at 10am. For further information please phone Anne Winn on 3425 1574.
FUNDRAISING: Dayboro Scout Group’s 3 Venturers are all planning to go to “Venture in WA” in January 2009. They need to raise approximately $10,000 in total to send these young folk on their way to W.A. To that end the Dayboro Scout Group are starting a regular BINGO .
