DAYBORO FIRST RESPONDER NEWS November 2008
At the end of week 2 our team has responded to a total of 5 medical emergencies. Feedback has been excellent from patients and Paramedics.
Intensive training continues on a weekly basis. Many team members are spending their days off obtaining first hand experience with our Dayboro Paramedics and at other busier stations.

Once again a HUGE “thank you” to the local businesses and community for supporting our Fundraiser last month. It is planned to have another on the 13th of December. We hope to once again acknowledge your overwhelming support. Our aim is to fundraise for the purchase of a second Automatic Defibrillator (AED).
QAS funding has seen us supplied with a response kit, uniforms and initial training, and donations from our Local Ambulance Committee has enabled purchase of monitoring devices to add to our response kit.
A Government grant has been applied for which will enable the purchase of advanced training equipment.
