COUNCILLORS JUST A MOUSE CLICK AWAY
Contacting your local councillor has been made easier thanks to a new addition to council’s website:www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au
Residents can now communicate directly with councillors by visiting the Moreton Bay Regional Council website and following the links to the “Communicate with your Mayor and Councillors” page.
“At a click of the mouse you can now raise any issues or concerns, provide feedback and suggestions, and even arrange for council to send a celebratory message to a loved one,” Mayor Allan Sutherland said.
“The internet is becoming an increasingly popular way to conduct business, communicate and share ideas and this new web-based service provides our residents with a convenient and direct link with their local councillor.”
