COUNCIL MEETING CHANGE from Jan 2010
Moreton Bay Regional Council will trial a new meeting schedule from January 2010. Under the three-month trial council’s General Meeting will begin at 10.30am on Tuesdays and incorporate the Co-ordination Committee Meeting.
Mayor Allan Sutherland said it was hoped the trial format would streamline the meeting process, allowing councillors more time to meet with representatives of the community.
Currently the general meeting is held at 4pm on Tuesdays.
