Recently, at the Samford District Historical Museum, I had a conversation with a longtime resident who lives on the Cedar Creek side of Mt. Lawson – Mt. Samson being the other. He assured me the Military certainly thought so. The top of Mt. Lawson has commanding views of shipping in and out of Brisbane.
