The blood donormobile visits Dayboro, (parking kerbside in Williams Street – just near Hay Cottage and Roderick Cruice Park) on Wednesday 8th May from 9am – 3pm.
They will visit Samford (parking at John Scott Park on Station Street) on Friday 10th May from 8.30 – 3.30pm.
To book an appointment, or for any medical enquires, donors are to phone 13 14 95 prior to the visit.

Dawn Service:  
The Dawn Service will be held at the Cenotaph in Roderick Cruice Park (beside the pool) and will commence at 0515. Bring a light and participate in the service.
Parade and Main Service
The Main Parade will be as it was last year.  Form up will be at the hotel at 9.00am and the march will begin at 9.30am sharp and proceed to the school.

Sat 4th May & Sun 5th May  1.30pm – 3.30pm
Kupidabin Fairy Festival will be held at The Lyell Deer Sanctuary, Lyell Court (off Foggs Road) Mt Samson – just 15 minutes from Dayboro.
The Fairy Festival is held twice a year, with a Spring Festival in September.

Many readers may remember growing up when part of daily life included felling timber for all manner of uses:  Paling fences, post and rail fences, railway sleepers, bridge girders, housing timber, bullock yokes, firewood etc all done using hand tools which mostly hang silent on Museum or back-yard shed walls these days with nothing to tell of the skills and strength needed to use them.

I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to lose me in a 20,000 acre paddock.  Of course the position of the sun is often a giveaway. But I can always find my way even under heavy cloud cover. Well nearly always.  Same in the city so long as the peak hour traffic isn’t too bad.
