OLD MOBILE PHONES
If you have old mobile phones at home could you please place them in the wooden book box at the front of the Dayboro scout den in Don Kerr Memorial Drive as we are participating in a fundraising scheme that pays us for old mobile phones whether they are in working order or not!!!! Your help would be very much appreciated.

JAMBOREE 2013
Dream It Live It at AJ2013, in the beautiful Fraser Coast Region. This is the theme for the January 2013 Jamboree. This year we are raising funds to send 11 Scouts and two leaders to Jamboree. This is an experience of a life time, but these kids will also learn new skills including leadership and teamwork, and get to participate in lots of activities including the following
Raft building,
Snorkelling,
Rubber Duckies,
Swimming,
Sliding,
Beach Games, and
Stunt Kite Flying.
Of course this takes lots of fundraising to achieve. So once again the Dayboro Scouts are selling their Fathers Day raffle tickets.
This year it is the “BBQ” for the Boys. The prize includes:
BBQ worth $900.00
Gazebo
100Litre Coleman esky
2 x Camping chairs
$100.00 vouchers for the Dayboro Butchers
9kg Gas bottle.
Tickets are $2.00 each. We will be selling tickets in the next few weeks around Dayboro or if you would like to support us. If you would like tickets please give me a ring on 0413 121 360. This is really a great prize.
YABBIE RACES IN DAYBORO
Set aside the 15th of September for the Inaugural Dayboro Yabbie Races. This should be a lot of fun for everyone involved. Check out the notice in this edition on page 3, and keep watch for further information.
