Apr2015_Madagascar visits Samford on April 17 2015
Join Councillor Bob Millar and his family for the third instalment of the hit animated Madagascar movie series at John Scott Park, Samford on Friday, April 17.
After bursting onto the silver screen 10 years ago, Marty, Melman and Alex are back on their latest adventure, this time through Continental Europe, with Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.
Councillor Millar said that the festivities would kick off at 5pm with live entertainment, face painting, and a variety of food stalls, with the movie getting underway around 6.30pm.
“Finish the school holidays with a roar, and enjoy a screening of the popular animated film that will have the whole family laughing,” Cr Millar said.
“To help celebrate Madagascar 3, wear your best jungle-themed outfit and go into the draw to win prizes for the best dressed.”
Entrance to Movie in the Park is by gold coin donation in support of Creative Samford.
The event will finish around 8pm.
