Property Offences
Overnight on 7th March entry was forced to the garage window of a residence on Ocean View Road, Ocean View.  Jewellery, a phone and credit cards were stolen.  Credit cards were later used in pay wave transactions at convenience stores at Warner and Kensington Village.  This incident occurred whilst the residents were home.
Between 7.30pm and 7.45pm a glass sliding door was smashed to gain entry to another Ocean View property.  An alarm was activated and a safe containing personal documents was stolen.  The safe was located in the Petrie area.
Between 15th and 16th February entry was gained via a rear door of a Cedar Creek property.  It is unknown at this time what property was stolen.
There have been a number of reports over the last month of suspicious behaviour in the Laceys Creek and Dayboro area.  Vehicles have entered properties late at night and left when approached by the property owners.  In another instance two males had parked a ute about 5pm in the afternoon and were walking down the driveway of the property when one of the occupants arrived home.
If you have information in relation to these or any other incidents please contact Dayboro Police Station Ph 34251200 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
