It was with great pleasure that I was able to present, on behalf of Craig Doyle, a cheque for $2100.00 to the Dayboro and Districts Rural Watch at their October General Meeting. Each year Craig provides a helicopter and pilot at Dayboro Day and, after expenses, any money raised is then donated where Craig sees a need in the community. Thanks Craig. We know this donation will enable Rural Watch to purchase necessary items to benefit the whole community.
DAYBORO MARKET: Looking for that special Christmas pressie? Come along to the Market on 1 Dec and you are sure to find it! Stock up on your honey for the holidays, heaps of plants for your summer gardening projects, stock the cupboard with jams, pickles etc and the freezer with cakes or find a special bargain. And of course, try one of our delicious, yummy bacon and egg burgers for breakfast. 2014 Markets start the first Sunday in February (No Market in January). Check out the Dayboro Facebook page for information and photos. $15 for a 3m x 3m site. All monies raised to Qld Cancer Council and local community needs.
