Dayboro StaffingThe new police officer for Dayboro has been appointed. Senior Constable Paul Waples is presently at Biggenden Station and will start at Dayboro in early October. Up until then we will have relieving officers from Albany Creek and North Lakes Stations.
Property offences
On 17th July entry was forced to a house on Mt Mee Road and keys located inside were used to steal a silver 2005 Toyota Prado. A vehicle stolen from Banyo was located nearby.
At about 4am on 9th July a motorcycle was stolen from a shed of a residence on Dayboro Road. The bike was located at Petrie later that morning.
Between 6th and 8th July the Dayboro Football Club was broken into and property including a safe and cash registers was stolen.
On 3rd July entry was gained to the Dayboro Matilda Service Station. An offender from Redcliffe was charged by Pine Rivers Criminal Investigation Branch.
Between 23rd June and 3rd July property was stolen during a break and enter of the Dayboro Soccer Club building.
At the end of June and early July fuel containers were stolen from the council depot on Laidlaw Street and fuel and property taken from vehicles on Bradley Street.
Between 27th and 28th June there was attempted entry to Hay Cottage and forced entry to the rear of Dayboro Cottage.
Between 18th and 25th June fuel and a gun safe were stolen from the shed of a Laceys Creek Road property.
Between 19th and 20th June entry was gained and damage caused to a number of buses parked off Mt Mee Road.
On 15th June an offender was charged with damaging a vehicle in Williams Street.

Property security
These offences indicate a continuation of the increased number of property offences reported in last months article. Offenders and suspects are not confined to local persons. Please take the time to assess security of your property. Identification of property through recording serial numbers or using the police recommended property inscription can assist in recovering property. A number of items have recently been recovered due to accurate information from owners.
