PRO BMX DAY POSTPONED – to Saturday 20th August.
Unfortunately due to rain and very poor weather the Dayboro Pro BMX day that was to be held on Saturday the 16th of July 2011 had to be postponed. I apologise sincerely to all of those families out there who were looking forward to the day. Consequently, the Dayboro Pro BMX day will now be held on Saturday the 20th of August 2011 between 10am-2pm. (weather permitting!) Hope to see you all there.
UN-RESTRAINED CHILDREN
Dayboro police have received reports that some parents are picking up and dropping off school children with their toddler siblings unrestrained in the car. Reports suggest some parents only have one child/booster seat and during these times the alternate wife or husband is elsewhere (eg. work) with the car that has the child seat in it. Dayboro police are urging parents not to do this, even if it is just around the corner. Please purchase/borrow a second child/booster seat for your second car and protect your little ones. The penalty for this offence is $300 and 3 demerit points or worse still severe injury to your child. For more information or advice please don’t hesitate to contact Dayboro Police. Secure your precious cargo.
THANK YOU
Ken and I would like to thank all of the school watch volunteers that kept Dayboro State School safe over the June/July holidays. There were no reports of vandalism or trespass during these times and that is a result of the volunteer’s vigilant patrols. Thankyou very much. If you would like to offer your time to help the school watch program over the September and December holidays please contact Dayboro police.
TRIVIA NIGHT
Yes it is on again! The Dayboro Police Charity Trivia night will be held on Friday the 2nd of September 2011 at the Dayboro Cowboys Rugby Leagues Club. The theme this time around will be ‘Spring Carnival’ so the ladies can wear their flashy dresses and hats and the men, smart casual (shirt and tie). The night will commence at 6.00pm. All monies raised will be reinjected back into the community for crime prevention and community based policing initiatives. Nominations for tables of 8 can be made to Dayboro police from Monday the 8th of August. Tables are limited so start organising a team now!
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the Dayboro Show Committee and all of the volunteers for another successful Dayboro Show. Great job!
Stay safe
