POLICE NEWS July 09
During daylight hours on 6th June entry was forced to a residence in Rail Close, Dayboro and a considerable quantity of property stolen. Offenders have been charged by Petrie CIB and a majority of the property recovered. This offence was solved with the assistance of information provided by members of the local community. Overnight on 29th May entry was gained to several rooms at Dayboro State School and a number of computers stolen.
On two occasions in the last month, damage has been caused to air conditioning units of the Dayboro Pool complex building. There has also been in increase in graffiti around the pool, skatepark and surrounding areas.
On 31st May a suspicious fire occurred at a property on Kundes Road, Mount Samson.
Any person with information in relation to these or other offences is requested to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or Dayboro Police 34251200.
Rural Watch – unfortunately the last meeting was cancelled due to wet weather preventing access to our proposed venue at the Dayboro Bowls Club. The next meeting will be held at the Dayboro Bowls Club on 13th August, 2009 commencing 7.30pm.
