MARCH FINANCIAL DAY: This day was once again sponsored by Councillor Bob Millar. We know Councillor Bob has a busy schedule and we were grateful that he found the time to attend on the day and join us for lunch and present the prizes. There were 20 lucky numbers drawn out on this day, each winning a prize. Spiders prizes went to George and Toni, Dayboro. Fruit and Veg trays went to Noela, Brighton and Jackie, Dayboro.
FINANCIAL DAYS: It is very pleasing to see February and March this year having full greens. Sometimes it is a real headache for Edna finding enough players.
FRIENDSHIP DAY 22 APRIL: These days are a lot of fun with lots of laughter and good food. If you would like to come along or just enquire about the day, you may phone Edna Wruck on 3425 1119. Morning tea is at 8.45am with Play at 9am. Cost is $5 to play. Bowls can be provided.
FRIDAY NIGHT MEALS: Fortnightly 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. (See advertisement on page 42 for next dates.)
WEDNESDAY BOWLS: Ladies Day but men are welcome. Morning tea is at 8.45am with Play at 9am. Cost is $5 to play. BYO lunch. Once again, if you would like to come along and try the game of lawn bowls, bowls can be provided – just wear flat shoes.
