Apr2015_DAYBORO TENNIS CLUB NEWS

Thank you to everyone who made our clubhouse grand opening a night to remember.  It was great to see the support from the community as well as a few faces from our clubs previous committees.

Our aim was to celebrate our new clubhouse and I think we accomplished that, as well as some new members!

This event would not have been possible without the help of our committee and community.  We would like to thank Dayboro Lions, Dayboro Scouts and the Dayboro Community Hall for assisting with equipment on the day.  Dayboro Butcher and Dayboro Bakery for their yummy sausages and bread, which were absolutely scrumptious.  MBRC, Sports and Recreation and Tennis Qld for their support throughout the planning and on the day.  We would also like to thank Councillor Millar for officially opening our new clubhouse. 

Finally, a huge thank you to our committee.  We may be small and busy with our families, work and life in general … but … we have just entered a new chapter in our club’s history and each one of you has contributed so much time and effort into making our little tennis club an affordable and fun place for everyone in Dayboro.
