U3A AGM MARCH
On Friday the 20th of March we will be holding our AGM at Bray Hall Petrie at Cnr O’loan and Cooke St at 10.00 am.
Our Guest Speaker will be Councillor Mike Charlton who will be discussing Local Government Amalgamation – Where we are at – the pluses -the minuses – the challenges and the future. So please come along for a interesting and stay awake type meeting. Mike, as you are aware, was one of our prior Councillors under our old Pine Rivers Shire Council but still a proud name as your U3A still bears its name through its incorporation ( Good on you John ).
Coffee, tea and bickies will be provided at n/c to all .Again we welcome visitors as well as our members .
All committee positions will be thrown open and appointed so please attend – it is your organisation.
General items will be discussed and bookings taken for Bus Trips as well as payment – but please, please, book early as most are already fully committed. Also membership monies and applications will be accepted.
