SPRING!!
So as this edition comes to your letterbox it is goodbye to Winter  . . . . and hello to Spring!!

Thinking back on this Winter it really wasn’t too bad.  Being rather notorious for staying up until the wee hours of the morning, then sleeping in, I have to say that through this Winter I actually did experience the crisp cool mornings  – and even encountered ice on the windscreen of my car a time or two.
My early starts were the result of undertaking a Business course through Careers Australia, at their Bowen Hills campus.
I looked on the driving during peak times as being experience for the future when I have to travel to work each day.  (The 2 or 3 days per week was a good lead-in.)
It took a while to work out the best route but now I’m confident that my way is far superior to that chosen by my GPS each time . . . but at least it (the GPS) doesn’t get upset when I don’t follow its directions!!!  Just re-plans . . . and re-plans . . . . and re-plans again.
Why do I still use it?  As a guide to the expected arrival time;   and, as a reminder for when I need to be in the correct lane to make a left or right turn.
Speaking of driving, have you had reason to use the M7 yet?  My first attempt I encountered flashing signs saying “Turn on your radio”.  I’m thinking, “But what station?”  Didn’t matter!  A voice magically cuts across the radio station to inform drivers about a possible delay ahead.  Technology eh!!?        Doreen.
