– Dayboro – Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th September 2012
WHERE: Massage Connection in Dayboro.
Located down the laneway beside Matilda Garage in Dayboro- entry via Hire Connection.
WHY: To support an orphanage/school for the disadvantaged and underprivileged people of Dong Kwang village in Nth East Thailand.
ALL monies raised at Dayboro on Saturday 29th & 30th, will go directly to the people in need. We are also hoping to build a bamboo house for a family in dire need of shelter and life’s basics (Nuch, San and their three children).
All massages will be available for the special price of $1 per minute

How did this come about?
After receiving my diploma in Thai Massage, I was introduced to Nee, the owner of Siam Star in Morayfield. We exchanged massage techniques and along the way have become trusted friends. Nee told me of the difficulty experienced by deserted women and children, orphans, the mentally challenged and ill people in and around her village on the Mekong River near Nakhon Panom.
Nee returns every February to help those in need. So far Nee has started a school, provided uniforms, tables , chairs and food etc. She also showed me a picture of Nuch and her rotting bamboo home saying, “One day I build her a house!”
So this is why we are fundraising…
With your generous support we will go to Thailand and watch our massage funds go directly to the people in need.
We will also donate massages to the old and stressed. These people will be chosen by the monks.
We would also appreciate donations of reading glasses that no longer serve you.
