Sept2011_Linda Z and The Trainiacs
Linda’s classes are held in the grounds of the Dayboro Football Club every Tuesday, Thursday (9.15 am) and Saturday (7.30 am). For more information, or just a chat about how these classes can change your world, call Linda on 0408 711 261.
There has been a very distinct lift in the atmosphere of our picturesque little community of Dayboro and some of this may be related to the positive and obvious changes to the health and fitness of a rapidly growing number of our locals.
With biceps emerging, buns burning and lungs expanding; this group of fitness fans have recently taken up a 12 week challenge, coordinated by the energetic, passionate and seriously zany, Linda Z. And the results are amazing!
Linda is a qualified Personal Trainer and Group Instructor with a wide range of experience and a personal stash of other handy knowledge and with this, Linda is breathing new life into our community. Her skills, along with her infectious personality, passion for fitness and her belief that a healthy body helps us find a place of inner joy is passed directly onto those who trust her with their fitness.
“Thank you Linda for showing me that I can reach my goals. I am achieving goals that I thought were out of my league. Your classes have been great physically and mentally and so much fun. Yes Linda you are right. We can do it. Thank you so much”, says one of her regular class goers, Jahna.
Trudy is another dedicated and hard core Linda Z. fan and here is what she says about her experience. “Since I started training with Linda I have lost 13 kg and have found the ‘old’ me again.”
As a determined advocate of outdoor exercise Linda supports the many studies proving that exercising in a natural environment can be connected to enhanced feelings of revitalisation, increased energy levels along with an improvement in mental well-being compared with exercising indoors.
“What’s better than exercising in the fresh air with a fun group of people” asks Linda. “And what’s more, we don’t need any fancy or expensive exercise equipment. We can, and we do achieve a challenging and rewarding work out using nothing more than our own bodies.”
Plus, Linda is mindful that most Mummies are juggling drop off times and frantic morning routines therefore her weekday classes commence at 9.15am to allow for these demands. So there are no excuses! And for those who do not have the option of childcare? Well the littlies love nothing more than to watch their Mum’s run around, puffing, panting and having a good laugh, which is the essence of Linda’s classes – so they can come along too.
