Sept2011_Fundraiser for Relay for Life
This year Senator Mark Furner will be teaming up with Australia Zoo to help raise funds for Cancer Council Queensland’s Brisbane Relay for Life.
The Senate Scoundrels will be holding a fundraiser at Club Pine Rivers on Friday 23 September 2011 at 6pm. Tickets will cost $30 for adults and $25 for children below 12.
Finger foods will be provided, great raffle prizes will be up for grabs and guests may get a chance to meet a friend or two from Australia Zoo.
Senator Furner has been supporting the Queensland Cancer Council since 2005 and has participated in the Brisbane, Pine Rivers and Redcliffe relays.
The Brisbane Relay for Life will be held from 3pm on Saturday, 29 October to 9am Sunday, 30 October.
Tickets for the fundraiser can be bought at Senator Furner’s electorate office at Suite 1 ‘Crossroads’ 454 Gympie Road, Strathpine or Club Pine Rivers reception, 1 Sparkes Road, Bray Park. Alternatively you can call the office on 07 3881 3710.
