Sept2011_DAYBORO RSL CHAPTER UPDATE
Progress is being made towards the formation of an R.S.L in Dayboro. A recent meeting of the Bray Park- Strathpine Sub Branch resolved to foster the Dayboro Chapter.
We will be known as the Dayboro Chapter of the Bray Park – Strathpine R.S.L Sub Branch and, providing the Queensland R.S.L approve, we should have our Chapter in place by the end of the year.
A meeting of Dayboro ex-service personnel recently appointed Alex McMillian as Secretary and Richard Hawkins as President of the Dayboro Chapter.
An important function of the R.S.L. is the welfare of returned service personnel and ex-service personnel and until we have our own people trained, the Bray Park Welfare & Pensions Officer is more than happy to assist with D.V.A. matters. Personnel who have any D.V.A issues or want to become a member are asked to contact either:

Eligibility to be a member is to have served in the Armed Forces for a period of 6 months.
