Sept10 SAMFORD and DISTRICT CARRIAGE DRIVERS INC.
Open Day & Car Boot Sale, 10am to 2pm, 12 Sept 2010
The Samford & District Carriage Drivers are holding their Third Annual Open Day to promote the sport of Carriage Driving in our beautiful Samford Valley.
If you are interested in trying Driving, all breeds of horses are welcome and you don’t need to have all the expensive gear to get started. Any safe harness and vehicle will do. The whole family can participate and have a lot of fun.
Come along to our open day at the Samford Showgrounds,
10am to 2pm, Sunday 12th September, 2010 and see what Carriage Driving is all about.
We will be having Carriage Rides for a Gold coin donation between 10am and 12pm.
There will be a display of games like the keyhole, cones course and bending poles.
Talk to the members and find out more about this challenging and fun sport.
There will be a sausage sizzle from 10am serving sausages from “The famous Sausage Man” of Dayboro. Also cakes and a fun Multi-draw raffle.
A Car boot sale will be held, so clean out your tack room and get some money back on your unwanted gear.
Entry is $5 per car – $20 per business display.
Come along and take a look. It could be your newest passion!
