August Financial Day:  This day was sponsored by our Patroness, Edna Wruck, and husband Des.  We thank them for their generous support each year.  We had 3 visiting Patroness on the day and it was great to see our Honourary Member Joan Clark with us on Edna’s day.  

Edna puts a lot of work and thought into the prizes on the day, with hand made crochet hangers for the table prizes.  Instead of prize money for teams she had 10 lucky numbers to draw out, with the prize being a towel.  She did not forget the workers and they had a special draw, with Dawn being the lucky one.  Spiders went to Noela, Bramble Bay and Glad, Kallangur.  President Rosemary had a 3 tier Cake Stand donated for her last day as President for her to raffle, and this went to Tony di Pompo, Dayboro.  The bowls bag donated by Richard and Dianne, Bribie Bowls Shop, went to Jan, Pine Rivers.  The Fruit trays went to Jan, Pine Rivers and Dawn, Dayboro.  

Friendship Day Wednesday 18 September:  This day will be a bit different as we have Alex McMillan of ADM Business Consultants sponsoring us.  If you would like to come along for a fun day this is it.  Morning tea is at 9am.  Play 9.30am.  Cost is just $5 – with morning tea and lunch provided.  Just wear flat shoes – bowls can be provided.  For more information phone Edna 3425 1119.

Wednesdays mixed:  $5 to play;  BYO lunch.  Morning tea at 9am and play begins at 9.30am.  Everyone is invited – bowls can be provided.  Wear flat shoes.
