BUS TRIP: Saturday 22 November is the date for Samford Museum’s annual bus trip.
This year we will be visiting Redcliffe Museum featuring Queensland’s first European settlement story, a video of mullet fishing and local sporting greats. Then take in an old time movie at Redcliffe Movie Palace before going on to Abbey Museum.

A Roman glass from the 1st century, a carved oak panel from Suffolk c1600-1900 AD, a fan made of feathers c.1859 from England, and a Neolithic stone axe c 3500 BC from Switzerland are just a few examples of Abbey Museum’s collection of ancient artefacts.
The cost is $40 which includes morning tea, lunch and admissions.

OPENING TIMES: Samford Museum welcomes visitors Wednesdays 10 am- 3pm and Sundays 10 am -4pm. Admission is Adults $4 and Students $1.
HOLIDAY CLOSURE: Members will take a break during December/January school holidays.
The Museum will be closed after Sunday 7th December until Australia Day 2009.
