Games Day

This Saturday 30th November between 9am and 2pm there will be a free Xbox and Wii games day opposite the IGA.  For further details see EVENTS page. 

Rural Watch meeting

Our final Rural Watch meeting for the year will be held on Tuesday 3rd December 7.30pm at the Dayboro Bowls Club.  If you would like to bring a plate for some Christmas nibblies please do so – I already have some mince pies and short bread.

Trivia Night

The 2013 Dayboro Police Charity Trivia night was held last Saturday night 23rd November at the Dayboro Football Club.  We had another great night and thanks to the support of sponsors, the group of volunteers who helped Paul and I set up and run the evening and the field of 20 tables (many of whom had already given as sponsors) a total of just over $7500 was raised.  This will banked in the Dayboro Lions Sheriffs fund and used to support the community.    The games day mentioned above is an example of how some of the funds have been used.  If you have any other ideas or become aware of someone in the community who could use some assistance, please let me know.
