Official State Awards Launching soon?

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Regional Achievement and Community Awards for 2012.
This year Cairns and Gladstone will host the Official Launches and Call for nominations in the Queensland Regional Achievement & Community Awards.  The Awards encourage, acknowledge and reward valuable contributions and outstanding achievements of individuals, communities, networks and groups in regional and rural areas of Queensland.

The program is presented by WIN Television and the Queensland Government and recognises small to medium size businesses, organisations/groups involved in Events & Tourism, Landcare and the Environment, young leaders, as well as recognising the achievements of Individuals and Communities involved in promoting their community.
The Regional Achievement & Community Awards will be calling for nominations in the following categories:
The Salvation Employment Plus Business and Employment Award
The Peabody Environment and Landcare Award
The Prime Super Community of the Year Award
The SunWater Youth Leadership Award
The Clark Rubber Regional Service Award
The SafeGuard Events and Tourism Award
WIN Television are excited about being able to present these Awards to all regional and rural citizens of Queensland. he Queensland Regional Achievement and Community Awards are proudly supported by Queensland Country Life and Sirromet Wines.
Winners will be announced on the Sunshine Coast at the Gala Dinner Presentation hosted by our event sponsor the Rydges Oasis Resort, Caloundra, on Saturday 3rd November 2012.
