The Samford Valley Garden and Lifestyle Expo:
25th and 26th October 2014
Sat 25th: 8am – 4pm Sun 26th: 8am – 3pm
At Samford Showgrounds. There is plenty of free parking. Entry is $10 per adult and free for accompanied under 18’s.
The Garden Expo is a community organised event and all proceeds will be distributed to local community programs.

Dayboro businesses look set to benefit from an influx of visitors to the region attending the inaugural Samford Valley Garden and Lifestyle Expo.
Expo Co-ordinator, Mr Chris Ellis, said the level of interest from across south-east Queensland had surpassed all expectations.
“The Expo will host thousands of people coming for the extensive variety of plants, guest speakers, hands-on demonstrations, garden equipment and products, landscaping ideas, outdoor furniture, and much more,” Chris said.
“We are also featuring creative arts, craft, food and classic cars, drawing a broad visitor base.”
“With the many visitors expected, the Expo provides our communities with a solid business opportunity because visitors will need a place to stay for a weekend getaway, to eat, and to relax while they tour the area, with many likely to be attracted to Dayboro’s historic village and surrounding countryside.” said Chris.
Locals with gardening, outdoor and lifestyle businesses are also welcome to become an exhibitor at the event to showcase their talents and products to a wide range of customers, including many from the region.
Dayboro’s local garden designer Sabina Menzi, from OUTSIDE Garden Design, is deeply involved in the expo as a volunteer and as an expert. She will be in the speaker’s line-up, talking about DIY Garden Design, and will answer your gardening questions on a Q & A Panel. Sabina will also be exhibiting some of her design work in the pavilion for you to view.
