OPENING WEEKEND Oct 11 and 12
With their opening on the weekend of the 11th and 12th October, Dayboro Tea House, Nicole is keen to spread the word and invite you to call in and sample what they have to offer as well as check out the fresh new look of the premises.
A couple of different teas will be available for tea tasting opportunities.
DID YOU KNOW? . . . . . That Tea Houses were the first publically acceptable meeting places for western women to gather for a meal without their men-folk? (One had to watch one’s reputation back in the 1920’s!)
Dayboro Tea House sets out to take you back to a time when the tea house was the community meeting place. With 50 different tea varieties on offer it will take a while to work through them all. For those “unconvertible” coffee drinkers, there is also a coffee machine to cater to your needs too.
Devonshire Teas, Morning Tea and Light Lunches are also on offer, and bookings may me made for High Teas.
A Melbourne Cup Tea is planned, so do enquire about that. Nicole is also looking at providing a regular “Ladies Night”, perhaps every month or two. Phone 3425 2952.
