Oct2012_Know Your Bible Study Group
During the 1970’s, in the midst of women becoming more outgoing, and mixing with people outside their homes a group of women started the forerunner of coffee mornings.
They got together from all different ways of life and studied the bible. No one cared if they were from a church, it was an outlet from their home duties. This organisation is still surviving and evolving. Our beliefs are Christian and we embrace all the teachings in our bible.
We are about to start up a study group in Dayboro which is open to all women of any age. We are holding an information day on the 11th October at 10:00am, including morning tea, at St Aidans Anglican church. Meetings will continue to be held here every Thursday until we decide if it is more feasible and accessible to hold our meetings in someone’s home. There will be little cost, only approximately $10 for our term study book. Check in the local shop windows for more information.
