The word is out . . .

In Dayboro we know about our ‘dynamic duo’, Ken and Troy, our wonderful Police Officers who do such a tremendous job in their community policing roles in this district.
They received a Special Community Award on Dayboro Day 2011 for their outstanding contributions to our community.  Now Troy makes the news again with being named Queensland’s top Adopt-a-Cop for his work with the children of Mt Samson State School.  Congratulations Troy!  Keep up the good work.

OUR EMAIL ADDRESS since 2008:
editorial@dayborograpevine.com.au
About a third of the way down in the left-hand column on page 2 of every edition of the Grapevine are our contact details – including our email address.  I have the Mail Boxes in our email program set up to direct any emails to old “@hotkey.net.au” email addresses to their own separate boxes.  This then allows me to notify those who still send emails to these addresses, to change their computer’s (or phone’s) Contacts or Address Book to show correct email address of:  editorial@dayborograpevine.com.au
If you have the Grapevine’s email details filed under a different name, check the actual email address recorded to ensure that it is the correct one.
There are people who have been advised of the change but continue to send emails to the incorrect address;  then there are those who may not have emailed us for some time then, after accepting a position on a committee find themselves communicating with us again . . . . Only to resurrect that old email address in error!
When I check emails following the Grapevine deadline, these are checked last – then rarely checked again until the next edition’s deadline.  Therefore any later change requests etc may be completely missed – because the wrong email address was used!
