Oct2011_Dayboro IGA turns 8
Saturday 27th August was a big day of celebrations down at the Dayboro Valley IGA – They were celebrating their 8th birthday with face painting and a $250 grocery grab as well as making a donation to a deserving local group.
The Dayboro Valley IGA supports The Historical Society and there good work in the community we love to support the locals. ‘How the locals like it’ is more than a catch phase to us it is what we strive for.
Manager, Darren Lipins, presented the cheque to Carmel Bond who represented the Dayboro District Historical Society Inc.
Cash give a ways on the day were a huge success one of the happy winners Brook Patterson receives cash from Store Manager Darren Lipins and one of the owners Michael Cruice. Local residents have seen their ‘local IGA’ go from strength to strength, offering us a great range of products, eliminating the need to make a dash to the nearby suburbs when requiring anything other than the very basics. Added local ‘flavour’ makes our store special with its isles named after local areas as well as featuring locally made products and works by local authors.
