NEW YEARS EVE 2011 at the Dayboro Bowls Club:Once again Cliff will be providing the music, barefoot bowls will be on again. More information next month.
Wednesdays are mixed days – all welcome. Bowls can be provided – just wear flat shoes. Morning tea from 9am. With play starting at 9.30am. $5 to play. Bring lunch.
SEPTEMBER FINANCIAL DAY: This day was sponsored by Beryl Nicholson and Lou Dolgner, and we thank them again for their ongoing support. The spiders were won by Hazel Kruger and Viv Frahm. The raffle went to Noela, Brighton. Fruit and Veg raffles to Joan, Pine Rivers and Robin, Brighton. Jo Schultz’s Deception Bay team were the winners on the day, with Kim Pearson’s Brighton team as runners-up.
New Member: We were pleased to welcome Kay O’Neil, Ocean View as a new member to our Club.
BNDLBA (Brisbane North District Ladies Bowling Association): This is the Association under which we play and it is pleasing to see some of our members joining in Competitions run between this Association and others around Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. We would like to thank Jackie French once again taking on the Delegates position to the BNDLBA and attending the monthly meetings and keeping us informed.
