FRIDAY NIGHT MEALS:  Every second Friday night 6pm – 8pm  MEALS $15 (T-Bone $18)

Last meals night for this year is 5th December.  Meals will be recommencing on Friday 30 January 2015.

 

OCTOBER FINANCIAL DAY:  This day was generously sponsored by Scott and Virginia Wiggins, Dayboro Bakery.  Scott and Virginia attended on the day and enjoyed a game of bowls with us, staying for lunch and presenting the prizes.  We thank Scott and Virginia for their ongoing support of our Club.  There were 10 winners drawn from lucky numbers on the day.  Spiders went to Colin and Eddy, Dayboro.  There were 3 raffles, with a bowls shirt donated by Richard, Bribie Island Bowls Shop won by Ettie, Pine Rivers.  Richard is also a great supporter of the Club.  Norma, Dayboro and Joan, Aspley were also winners.  Fruit and Veg raffles went to Audrey, Aspley and Fay, Dayboro.

 

NIGHT BOWLS:  Night bowls commenced on Wednesday 22 October.  This will be running every Wednesday evening, from 6pm.  Sausage Sizzle – $10 to play.  All welcome.

 

CORPORATE CHALLENGE:  We are planning to hold this early 2015.  Keep an eye out for notices on this.

 

MUSIC ON THE GREEN:  The recently held event was a lot of fun.  Next one is scheduled for Sunday 14th December.  Social Bowls and music from 3pm to 6pm.  Watch out for notices around town.

 

MEN’S CLUB:  This will not be closing this year.  Also note the Club is opening 7 days a week from 3.00pm.  So come on down.

 

WEDNESDAY BOWLS: Ladies day but men are welcome.  8.45am m/tea.  9.00 a.m. play.  $5 to play, BYO lunch.  Once again, if you would like to come along and try the game of lawn bowls, bowls can be provided, just wear flat shoes.

 

LADIES CLUB:  Last play day for 2014 will be Wednesday 3rd December.  We recommence in February.  Watch next month’s Grapevine for the starting date in 2015.
